Wind! At times way too much wind. This primarily arrives in the winter and spring. It is best to stay on the lee (downwind) side of buildings or ridges. A forest is a good place to be, as long as the trees don't fall on you (always something to watch for when setting up a camp).
Another good idea is to point the nose of your vehicle into the wind. That way your doors won't get ripped off!
Summer and fall have wind, but not as bad as winter/spring. Anyway, the wind in summer makes it comfortable to be outside.
Some say that if the wind stopped blowing, the locals would fall over.
